A RACE TO RECOVERY

Tim Coyle has run many races over the years, including nine marathons. But now Tim is an entrant in the most important race of all, to find a cure for childhood cancer. This past April, his daughter, Annie, was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. To help raise money for pediatric cancer research, Tim joined the CureSearch Athletics program in Annie's honor.
Their goal was to raise $12,000 through pledges from family and friends in support of Tim's
participation in Cincinnati's Flying Pig Marathon. On May 7, 2006, Tim ran the race while Annie waited for him at the finish line. Already, they have raised more than $18,000 to benefit CureSearch!

But, the race is still on as Annie continues her cancer treatment and this father and daughter team pound the pavement searching for donations to support research.
